Security Disclaimer
We sincerely want you to stay alive and well. Therefore, please take extreme good care of yourself if you climb into higher altitudes. We do really care about you but you are acting on your own sole responsibility if you get inspired by us. You should test all harnesses, ropes and knots in low altitudes before going up and furthermore check out the rules for tree climbing in your local area. We do not have any formal education in tree climbing and are hence not instructors but rather inspirators.
... to tree with a minimum of equipment.
On this page you will find instructions and inspiration for travelling from tree...

1. The Standard Knot 2. The Hoffmeyer Harness 3. The Nezhad Harness

Step 1
Measure the needed rope (approx. 3 meters)
Step 2
Make the central noose 3 meters in using a Standard Knot.
Step 3
Take the rope around your hip and put it through the central noose.
Step 4
Include your legs. Right leg first from the front, then the left leg from behind. After each leg, put the rope through the central noose.
Step 5
Lock the harness by pressing the end of the rope through the core of the Standard Knot and conclude with a overhand knot so it won't slide through.

Specific spots
We're making a map with all the good spots of the world for canopy hammocking with special focus on urban spots. Urban camping can be tricky, but we have learned to find our ways.
If you find a good spot, take a picture of it, tag it on the Google Map and write a small description of the place.
If it's a nice place, we might show you our gratitude with a small reward.
